We decided to go looking for a new car first thing, we found a nearby airport which had a rental car place, when we got there they didn't have that kind of car in, but we were told that we didn't necessarily have to get a switch out from alamo, we could switch out at a few other rental places too, which expanded our options, we headed back into town and on our way back we drove by a place, which had really good customer service and found a location that had a pickup truck coming in later in the day, we told them to reserve it for us and headed down there.

before we headed to pick up the new car we proceeded to Mesa Verde National Park, then headed to pick up our new car at the rental location and then headed to four corners monument
